The reality is that many of the activities we love can be hard on our bodies. Especially if we already have a preexisting structural condition. Most of the time the damage we do to our body doesn’t happen overnight. It can take months or even years to fully develop. Rolfing, through releasing the tissue and fascial restrictions, can bring the body back to more fluid movements. Swinging a baseball, running on cement, gripping the handlebars of your bike as you hunch over, all of these take very specific tolls on your body that can be reduced and often times eliminated by Rolfing.
Through Rolfing I work with both recreational and professional, both young and old athletes to enhance their performance and help reduce the harsh effects that training can have on the body. Sometimes that means a session here and there and sometimes that means a treatment plan for the duration of their season. My sessions are catered to the needs of my clients.

The Phoenix Suns were the first major NBA Basketball team to have a Certified Advanced Rolfer on hand, Jeffrey Maitland. “Phoenix Suns guard, Danny Ainge, who has received Rolfing for years, recommended the therapy to (Charles) Barkley. Other Suns, Mark West and A.C. Green, also have been Rolfed…with satisfactory results,” reported the Arizona Republic, May 1994.
